Custom Settings

ScheduleBase allows you to customize the way schedules are displayed. Select Settings from the Options menu on the Schedule page to adjust the following settings:

Schedule Abbreviation is an optional setting that is used as a short-hand way of identifying which schedule a person is on when assigned to multiple schedules. For example 'East Brook' for a schedule named 'East Brooksville'. By default ScheduleBase uses the first 10 characters of the schedule name or description.

Date Format and First Day of Week can only be changed by an Administrator. Changes made to these settings will be applied to all schedules in your ScheduleBase account.

Note When the Include all information when printing option is selected, ScheduleBase will display all information that is currently on the page when printing the schedule. This setting does not change the way schedules are printed for Staff Members.

You can also change what staff members see when they login to view the schedule.

Note When the Do not send blank schedules option is selected, ScheduleBase will not email or text blank schedules to employees when schedules are posted.

Note Changes to these settings will affect all users for this schedule.

Note Adjust settings for other schedules if you have multiple schedules in your account.

Hiding availability and request information
You can elect to show or hide availability and request information displayed on the schedule. Hiding this information will allow you to view more people on the display.

Select Availability & Requests from the Options menu on the Schedule page to change this setting.

Note Changes to this setting will only affect the way the schedule is displayed on your system.

Multi Week Displays

ScheduleBase allows Administrators and Schedulers to schedule in a two, three or four week display. Select desired number of weeks from the Options menu on the Schedule page.

Note The usability of some of these multi-week displays depends greatly on the size of your monitor and the amount of information that you schedule.

Tip Try using the Zoom feature in your browser. This can reduce the size of the text in each cell allowing you to see more information on smaller monitors.
