Daily Requests

Sometimes things come up like doctor appointments, weddings, etc. that are exceptions to a person's regular availability. ScheduleBase allows staff members to enter these special daily requests.

Example
John has a scheduled dental appointment on Tuesday, January 25 and will need that morning off. John logs into ScheduleBase, clicks on the day and enters his request and reason.

The manager will see this request when scheduling John on this day. ScheduleBase will also send an email or text message to the manager when staff enter requests.

Requests are displayed under the scheduling area for each staff member. New requests are indicated by a yellow note icon. Click on the request area to edit the request. Once approved or denied, mark the request as ' Done ' and the indicator will turn gray letting you and other schedulers know that this request has already been addressed. ScheduleBase will send an email or text message to a staff member when you mark a request as 'Done'.

Note Schedulers and Administrators will be notified of all pending future requests on the Schedule page.  See Notifications for more information.
